Hi,

with Yaws 1.68 an appmod is called if the path is:
http://serverpath/appmod_path/some/extra/stuff

but not if it is
http://serverpath/pre_path/appmod_path/some/extra/stuff

Anyone else seeing this?

Mikael

Hi Mikael,

I have trac installed, using the procedure outlined at:
http://yaws.hyber.org/wiki/showPage.yaws?node=YawsAndTrac
ie in yaws.conf I have
appmods = <trac , trac>

This allows http://serverpath/pre_path/trac/timeline/ etc
But of course it means that 'trac' appearing anywhere in the path will
trigger the call to that appmod.

I guess you're trying to tie it to a specific path from the root, and have
something like </pre_path/appmodname, appmodname> in your yaws.conf?

Specifying a complete URL path like that doesn't seem to work for me either.
I think yaws_server:check_comps needs modifying.

What versions of Yaws did this work for you though?
I had a very quick look at yaws-1.64 source.. and it seems to me it would
also have had this behaviour.. (?)

Cheers,
Julian Noble
