Can the trapexit forum-to-mail gateway for the erlang-questions list preserve the threading?

Perhaps by propagating the "In-Reply-To:" header?

Hi Doug,

thanks for your suggestions. Keep them coming in.

Next time we are in Stockholm, we hope to discuss the bridge between the mailing list and the forum directly with the mantainers of the the erlang mailing list. The goal is that everyone subscribed to trap exit but not to the mailing list should be able to have their posts mirrored to the list with them as a sender. With those changes, we will try to implement your suggestion as well. It might, however take a few months.

In case you weren't aware: the gateway has problems with code blocks (at least). Compare and contrast this erlang-bugs forum post with what made it to our inboxes:
