A couple of weeks ago I read a few articles about people who basically were bragging about how they could achieve message passing faster then Erlang... and all I could think of was "These people got it completely wrong..." because it is not all about sending a message from one thread/actor to another.

Anyway so to demonstrate a fraction of Erlang's potential I wrote a little demo which enhances the process ring example. You can find it here... Also I have attached the source code (GPLv3 License) to this thread as well.
