Hi
Here's my situation, I have 2 redundant Mnesia nodes in my company's building, and I there are other 2 nodes in a distant building. It works as a Master/Slave system (the 2 nodes here are active, the others don't). The first idea that came to my mind is to transfer the .DCD files to the other building, but I'm not completely sure. I would like to know what kind of risks I'd be assuming.
thanx

Look into putting sticky locks on the inactive nodes. They are expensive to set up, but once there, duplication is very efficient.
Also, make sure you test all possible scenarios. Your biggest problem will be relating to network (and as a result, database) partitioning. It is the biggest issue when dealing with remote nodes.
