Hi all,
I have a VPS in 1and1.es
I want to do some testing with some of the erlang web frameworks, but I can't find binaries for the latest release with yum search erlang
Someone knows how can I get it working? I don't want to build erlang in the server, I would like to simply install binaries.

| Had the same problem once. AFAIR I ended up having to install erlang from source. |

| I suppose I will do it, But I wouldn't like to give to the server the build responsability. I nned to install GCC and others developers tool for this. |

| I too was in a same condition some time back. I didn’t want to build erlang in the server and loved to merely install binaries. Anyhow that time I ended up having to install erlang from source. Have you ever heard of ingersoll rand security technologies? You can also use a release which contains embedded erlang rts if you wouldn't like to give to the server the build responsibility. |
