The roadmap [1] doesn't mention new AMQP versions like the recently
released 0-10. Are there plans to support it or even 0-9? I need to
connect to the broker from Java and C clients. I do not see any
mention of OpenAMQ WireAPI [2] on the interoperability page. I
imagine they are not interoperable since the WireAPI is for 0-9. Is
support for newer protocol versions planned for any upcoming release?
Is a 1.3.0 release around the corner?

Good morning Smile

In reverse order ---

3. Yes, it is in testing at the moment.
2. We are working with the OpenAMQ team on 0-9 clients. You can help
us all modify the OpenAMQ C client for 0-8 if you like!
1. We put a lot of work into 0-10 along with several other members of
the WG, and have an 0-10 design in mind. However the next release of
RabbitMQ after 1.3 will be an interop release (1.4) around the 0-8/0-9
protocols to consolidate across all current use cases of AMQP.

Please note that in this we are guided by what our users and customers
tell us they want! You are most welcome to get involved and influence
the direction of the roadmap.

Cheers
