Some (all?) is coming from the trapexit forum gateway. The "Post sent
from http://www.trapexit.org" and host mail.erlangsystems.com are common
features.
I'm not sure why the yaws mailing list is susceptible/being targeted when the main erlang-questions one isn't.
Francesco: We've been getting ~5+ spams a day, with realistic subject lines, apparently coming through trapexit. This has been going on for a few days.
Any idea why?
Cheers,
Bruce

Thanks Francesco, (belated) Happy Easter!
Tobbe/Klacke, can one of you try and reconfigure the mailman of yaws so
only subs can post? I think only sourceforge admins have the rights to
do this. It would fix many of the spam problems (including this one, at
least on the list). erlang-questions has had this restriction for a while.
Cheers,
Bruce

We believe the spam at trapexit is now under control, with most of the forums having been cleared and spammer accounts deleted. Bots attacked the trapexit site, replying to existing/old posts. They caught us at Easter, when everyone was on vacation, with no one was monitoring the site. Sorry about that. If you still get spam, please inform us just in case, as trapexit is a site we run in our spare time.
Regards,
Francesco
