Hi
I'm compiling ejabberd with the patch "ejabberdctl user friendly"
support made by Sander, but when i try to used it, i got this error:
Error: the directory /usr/local/var/lib/ejabberd/data is not writable
by the current user. (code 1)
i know that this is a permission problem, but ejabberdctl is pointing
to the wrong ejabberd data folder. my spool,data,ebin folders are in
/var/lib/ejabberd , no /usr/local/ ...
Maybe doing a symlink i will resolve the problem, but that's not the
way that i want.

donno but maybe just try su to ejabberd user and next try use ejabberdctl??

This probably means you did not used the --prefix option of the
configure script. Try:
./configure --prefix=/usr

and if i use --prefix=/usr will i have ETCDIR, BINDIR, VAR, as
/etc/ejabberd/ /var/lib/ejabberd .. etc??
