Thanks ... up again.
The problem is probably pretty bad. Needs to be investigated.
I had a whole bunch of:
=ERROR REPORT==== 8-Jan-2007::05:26:58 ===
Yaws process died: {{badmatch,{error,emfile}},
[{yaws_server,cache_file,4},
{yaws_server,handle_request,3},
{yaws_server,aloop,3},
{yaws_server,acceptor0,2},
{proc_lib,init_p,5}]}
in the error log .... yuck.

Too many open FD's? What is your ulimit (ulimit -a or ulimit -n for just
the fd list, use -Ha to see the hard limit)?
I'm struggling to see how the cache could have many files open, but if
you're also reasonably popular (one FD per socket) then it is quite
possible.
Cheers,
Bruce

Absolutely too many fds ... thus the above "yuck"

Haha

The problem here surely isn't popularity, rather we (I) have an fd
leak somewhere. It could be pretty much anywhere and I need to
find out exactly where. The reason I posted the above error_message
was in the vain hope that somebody else had also seen it.
